If you are looking for a mid-afternoon “pick me up” that is super tasty, healthy and nutritious, look no further!
You can “jazz up your balls” by using up to 3 of the optional ingredients listed.
Get creative! You can coat your balls in anything healthy! This is the fun part!
  • 1 cup gluten free oats ( crushed )
  • 1/2 cup natural no-stir almond butter ( smooth or crunchy )
  • 1/3 cup organic honey ( or agave syrup )
  • optional unsweetened shredded coconut
  • optional chia seeds
  • optional goji berries (chopped up)
  • optional hemp/flax seeds
  • optional sweet cacao nibs
  • optional dried cranberries or cherries (chopped up)
  • to coat balls shredded coconut
  • to coat balls crushed pistachios, almonds, hazelnuts or walnuts
  • to coat balls dark chocolate shavings
  • to coat balls sesame seeds
  • to coat balls cocoa powder
Preparation Steps
  • mix oats, honey and almond butter with any desired add-ins in a bowl
  • form ingredients into one large ball
  • separate large ball into bitesize balls about 1" inch in diameter
  • roll bitesize balls in desired coatings
  • place on baking sheet and cool in refrigerator for 1 hour
  • store balls in air tight Tupperware container
  • store in refrigerator up to a week
  • balls can also be frozen for up to 4 weeks
