Chicken Salad With Apple
Using green or Granny Smith apples in this recipe adds just the right amount of natural sweetness and keeps this dish low glycemic. This, as you may know, is one of the keys to success with the Dr. Dave HEALTH™ HCG Protocol.

What really makes this dish so tasty is the addition of cinnamon and nutmeg which pair with the green apples so nicely. Of course, you should be using free range chicken breasts with all of the skin, bones and visible fat removed before cooking.

  • 4 ounces chicken cooked and diced
  • 1 organic green apple, diced
  • 3 stalks celery, diced
  • 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
  • dash of nutmeg
  • dash of cardamom
  • dash of sea salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon Stevia
  • one wedge organic lemon
  • 4 leaves romaine lettuce
Preparation Steps
  • mix all ingredients together
  • sprinkle with Stevia and cinnamon
  • chill for 20 minutes
  • serve chilled on a bed of romaine lettuce with a wedge of lemon
