French Onion Soup
This soup is most certainly a family favorite suitable for just about any occasion. Traditional French Onion soup uses a good amount of butter to cook the onions, however for this HCG version you must keep the butter in the fridge. Also, there is no cheese or bread on offer with this recipe however you can enjoy one slice of plain melba toast once a day if you are on the HCG Protocol. Enjoy!
  • 1 organic onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups organic fat free beef broth
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1/2 teaspoon Stevia
  •   salt and ground black pepper to taste
Preparation Steps
  • Dry fry the garlic and onions in pan for 5-10 minutes
  • Stir in the Stevia
  • Cook 10 -15 minutes until onions are nicely caramelized
  • Add the beef broth
  • Bring to boil then simmer for 20 minutes
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste
  • Pour into a bowl and serve
