HCG Friendly Zucchicini Bolognese
This absolutely delicious, easy to make recipe is a winner even in an Italian household.
Venus and I made this while she was on the Dr. Dave HEALTH™ Program.
Tasty and Filling!
1.5 lbs 93% lean beef
2 medium Onions
2 Tablespoon Garlic powder
1 Quart Organic Chicken Stock
4 medium Zucchini
28 ounces Crushed Tomatoes
1/4 cup Fresh Oregano Leaves
1/4 cup Flat Leaf Parsley
To taste Salt and Pepper
1/4 Teaspoon Crushed Red Pepper
Saute, drain and press fat out of cooked beef.
Add crushed tomatoes, all herbs and ingredients (except the chicken stock and zucchini). Cook on low heat for at least 30 minutes.
Wash and make the zucchini noodles (you need a zucchini noodler or can buy pre-made noodles.
Heat chicken stock, add salt and pepper. Cook zucchini noodles until just tender.
Drain noodles, place sauce on top, garnish with fresh herbs. Mangia!
